sewing

For years I have sewn children’s clothes to sell, and this was my first full collection, using GOTS certified organic fabrics, photographed down by our local river. I stopped sewing to sell when I realised I needed to maintain a creative outlet that was for escapism not business but continue to sew for myself and my children.

Now I don’t sew to sell it’s given me more freedom to design fabrics, to then get printed and sew for my children’s requests! I even designed the fabric to sew up into holiday clothes for my space obsessed son who wanted his favourite vehicle, the crawler transporter, on his t-shirt to wear to meet astronaut Brian Duffy at Kennedy Space Center!
